Gates is happily married to his college sweetheart, Kelly. Together they have three beautiful kids, whom they are raising in Tampa, Florida. Family comes first, always.

Faith is the foundation of Gates' life, guiding him through challenges and providing hope for the future. He is active in his local church and serves on The Catholic University of America Busch School of Business Board of Visitors.
